My Going Away Party

Today was my going away party. It was better than anything I could've asked for! I had such a wonderful time and it was so great seeing everyone again before I leave. It was so wonderful seeing everyone there who supports me so much! I will see you all again in a year! :)

9 days left! After skyping with my good friend Angie in California the other day (she will be in my district in Germany!), we realized we can now count down on our fingers! Getting really excited and knowing I have all these wonderful people back home and also where I'm headed is such a great thing! Thank you so much for everyone who came today, for everyone who helped out and thank you so much mom and dad for the party and everything you've done :) it was truly great.

12 Tage, 12 Days

In twelve days I will be headed to the airport to fly to Germany for a year. In 13 days, I will be in Germany! I have started to pack a little bit but there is still a lot that I have to do! I've been getting together with friends and family and having a great last couple of weeks here in Michigan. I am so excited to leave for Germany! I have been talking with a few friends online that will be in my district, 1800, in Germany, and we are all very excited to see each other on the 9th on our flight from Philadelphia to Frankfurt! Some of us are even flying all the way to Hannover together! Of course I am a little nervous as well but all the excitement far outweighs any fear. Just 12 days! I'm counting down! :)
